I’m a huge fan of Sebastian Marshall.
I'm not completely sure, to be honest :)
I think I first came across him through Tynan, who is another person whose writing I find really inspiring.
And I found Tynan through Neill Strauss' The Game (probably his most famous book, although I enjoyed Emergency much more).
Anyway, Sebastian Marshall writes this really incredible weekly email called The Strategic Review. It's a mixture of history, entrepreneurship, self-improvement, and inspiration.
I find it intimidatingly well-written.
Every so often he edits his writing together into a book. I've read a few of them, but I really enjoyed Roguelike. His latest two, Progression and Machina, are collections of TSR writing.
If you are even remotely interested in self-improvement, entrepreneurship, history, or thinking in general I really recommend you sign up to The Strategic Review and give it a try, or check out one of Sebastian's books.
I'd be really interested to hear what you think :)
